Frances Emma Stanley Crook

For most of her married life, she was a homemaker and a child care provider. She cared for many children in the Mint Hill area. The little ones brought great joy to her life.

She was a faithful and long time member of Wilson Grove Baptist Church where she served many years in the nursery area caring and teaching young children. Her friends at Wilson Grove were like her second family. IN addition to her work with the children, her ministry to her friends at church was by making phone calls and sending cards to anyone who needed prayers and encouragement.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray W. Crook and son Donald Ray Crook.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Beverly Rowell and husband Jimmy, and Rhonda Griffin and her husband Danny; six grandchildren, Brandon Rowell and wife Jennifer, Jordan Rowell and wife Robyn, Nicholas Griffin, Darryl Griffin, Angela Martin, Jennifer Perkins and husband Dustin; eight great-grandchildren, Hannah Rowell, Davis Rowell, Owen Rowell, Lexi Rowell, Brady Rowell, Zhoey Martin, Emma Perkins and Ella Perkins.

She is also survived by a nephew, Ervin Baker and wife Mary and a niece Rebecca Price who all three were caregivers and encouragers for Frances after Ray passed away.
