Frank McManus

Following graduation at Bain Academy (1950) he entered the US Army in the 82nd Airborne Division. Shortly after his military service he spent 46 years of his working career with McEwen Hardware. He also worked at Four Seasons Hardware Variety Store at the end of his working years. Frank was a faithful member and deacon of Harbor Baptist Church. He lived a simple life and cared for his family and church. He loved his plants and keeping his yard cleaned.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John McManus; sister, Mary Elizabeth McCall; and nephews, Roy Lee Roach and Phil Hinson.

He is survived by his family, Sandra Jamison (Jack), Betty Ann McCall, Ellen England (Barry), Helen Hinson, and Chad Settles (Samantha).

A service to celebrate Frank's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15th at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel. The family will receive friends before the service at 2:00 pm. Interment with military honors will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Mint Hill.
