Geanette Clontz Baker

A native of Union County, North Carolina, Mrs. Baker was the last surviving child of 15 children born to the late William Washington Clontz and Dora Cornelia Watkins Clontz. She was a member of Dulin’s Grove Advent Christian Church. Mrs. Baker will be remembered for her love of flowers and working in her garden.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Homer T. Baker.

She leaves behind her daughter, Becky Peeler and her husband, Steve; her granddaughter, Lauren Peeler; her grandson, Jeremy Peeler; her great-granddaughter, Danielle Peeler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 until 11:00 am Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. The Reverend Matt Broadway will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
