Gregory Thomas Hall

He was born on April 10, 1949 in Durham, NC to the late Odie Thomas Hall and Barbara Whitford Hall.

He graduated from East Mecklenburg High School in 1967 and attended Central Piedmont Community College. Mr. Hall retired after a varied career in insurance, marketing and technology.

Greg was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Marine Corp. His passions were coaching, fishing, history and spending time with his family.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna Bradey Hall; son, Jarod Hall; daughter, Jennifer Hall (Chad Austin); grandchildren, Colby Hall Austin and Adelyn Grace Austin; brother, Wayne Hall (Becky); sister, Marla Humphries; father-in-law, Donald E. Bradey, Sr. (Betty); brother-in-law, Donald E. Bradey, Jr. (Leigh Ann) and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Nancy Brackett Bradey.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227.

A committal service will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to a military support group of your choice.
