Harold Lee Little

Harold was Jack of all trades and a business owner prior to his retirement. He could always be found with a smile on his face and a place in his heart to help a friend.

He shared a love of NASCAR with his wife, Joyce of 36 years. Harold could be found wearing his overalls and NASCAR hat piddling with cars in his own garage. Harold and Joyce were longtime members of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

Harold was born in Union County, NC to Mr. & Mrs., Hubert and Osie Little on December 2, 1937. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Joyce Thompson Little. His four siblings Jean Wetter (William) of Concord, Helen Ennis (Ralph) of Indian Trail, Steve Little (Jean) of Southport and Melvin Little (Janet) of Locust.

He also leaves behind his son Tony Little and his wife, Susan, and his daughter, Leigh Anne Cooper and husband Jerry. Five Grandchildren Zack Little, Sarah Little, Christian Cooper (Macey), Kyle Cooper, and Katie Cooper and, two great grandchildren, Theodore Cooper and Amelia Cooper.

He will be dearly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 24th 2024 at Twelve o’clock at McEwen Funeral Home-MInt HIll Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint HIll Rd, MInt HIll NC. Burial to follow service at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, 7632 Hood Rd, Charlotte NC.
