Henrietta Conder

Henrietta met her husband, Wade Conder, at a local square dance in Charlotte, NC in 1953. They married in 1954 while he was on leave. They were married 69 years and had 4 beautiful children.

She loved the outdoors, whether for a camping trip in the mountains or on the beach. Henrietta loved taking care of her children and always kept the home immaculate. She was a long time member of Philadelphia Presbyterian Church.

She was predeceased by her parents, Archie Alexander and Lois Rhyne McCall; husband, Wade Conder; and siblings, Archie McCall, Hall McCall, Bill McCall and Johnny McCall.

She is survived by her children; David Conder (Gene), Steve Conder (Patricia), Cathy Fincher (Rick), and Robert Conder; grandchildren, Emily Osborne (Michael), Carrie Jones (Jeremiah), Sarah Jenkins (Chuck), Jessica Conder, and Matt Conder (Kelia); and 9 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Henrietta will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
