A visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel with a graveside service following at 2:30pm at Sunset Memory Gardens.
James served in the US Navy during World War II and during the Korean War. He worked for Remington Rand Office Systems and Patterson Business Systems for over 40 years.
James was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church of Charlotte.
He is predeceased by his wife, Nellie Randleman Langley.
James is survived by his 2 sons, Gary Langley of Mint Hill, NC and Dennis Langley of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren; Kevin (Carla) Langley of Rock Hill, SC and Holly (Gexael) Benitez, of Rock Hill, SC. Great grandchildren; Eli, Nellie, Brayden and Bella. Brothers; Robert, Ray, Jimmy, Wayne, Jerry, Larry and Jack. Sisters; Peggy, Pat, Donna, Virginia and Minnie Ruth.
