

Joe was born on February 9,1946 in Manhattan, New York. His Father was Joseph and Mother
Regina Schreiner. Both are deceased along with his brother John Schreiner.
Joe graduated Massapequa High School in July 1963. He received a degree in Engineer Science from the SUNY at Farmingdale, New York in June 1965. Joe joined IBM in July of 1965 in Manhattan, New York as a customer engineer. He was drafted into the United States Army in March 1966.
After returning from Germany he returned to IBM in Manhattan. Joe participated in the GI bill offered by the US Government and received his degree in Business Administration attending college in the evenings. In 1973 he was transferred to IBM Fishkill, New York. He spent the next 18 years in Fishkill with a career in semiconductor manufacturing management. He was transferred to Somers headquarters in 1991 and finished his career a Continuous Flow consultant until retiring in 1993 to Charlotte, North Carolina.
He kept busy working for Advertising Display Co. in Mooresville, NC as a project manager. After two years he accepted a job at Devant LTD in Monroe, NC as an embroidery manager and business consultant to the owner. In 2008 he totally retired and decided to become a world traveler.
He enjoyed traveling to Europe every year with his wife Joan. They visited most of Europe and did some limited cruising to the islands. Also toured the national parks in the US. His favorite vacations were river cruises in Europe.
Joe was always into sports activities. He enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, bowling, track and field and after retiring, playing golf.
Joe is survived by the love of his life, Joan. Also his son, Joseph Schreiner and wife, Jamie Gerrard, daughter, Renee Schreiner, Granddaughter Madyson Schreiner, Stepson, Scott Clark and wife, Eileen and there three kids; Katelyn, James and Becca, Stepson, Jeff Clark and wife, Debbie, sister, Regina Scerbo, Step-daughter, Kristy Murray and husband, Galen and their seven children; Harley, Allyson, Joanna, Jordan, Katherine, Haven and Asher.
