Joyce Marie Tutor Lucas

Joyce Tutor Lucas passed away March 5, 2015 at the age of 81. Born October 1, 1933 in Harnett Co., North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Aline Tutor. Joyce is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, James Samuel Lucas.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (& Dan) Arnold, Karen Lucas, and Lou Ann Lucas; grandchildren, Carrie (& Matt) Wood, Samuel Vaughan, and Amanda (& Chris) McEwen; great grandchildren, Aaron and Andrew McEwen; brother, Clarence Bruce (& Dorothy) Tutor, a large extended family and many dear friends.

Joyce loved cooking, all types of music, living life to its fullest, laughing, and most of all spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at five thirty in the evening on Monday, the 9th of March, at Arlington Baptist Church with visitation held from four o'clock until the time of the service.
