She was born on June 14, 1930 in Charlotte, NC. Polly loved her family and dog, Buster.
Mrs. McKinney is survived by her children, Patsy Overcash (Paul, Sr.), Jimmy McKinney (Margie), Thomas McKinney (Charlotte), Mike McKinney, Terry McKinney (Donna) and Bobby McKinney; grandchildren, Lisa Honeycutt (Mark), Paul Overcash, Jr. (Renee), Tammy Rackley (Marshall), Michael Overcash (Amanda), Tammy Evans (Loren), Annette McCoy (Joe), Gene McCoy, Matthew Shawn McKinney, Christopher Mark McKinney (Lexi), Andy McKinney, Mariann Taylor (Jeremy) and Lindsey McKinney; 16 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Sylvester McKinney and daughter, Carol Ann McKinney.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Evergreen Burial Park in Mint Hill, North Carolina.
