Malcolm Lee Belk

Malcolm was born on January 12th, 1952 to the late Margie Jones Belk and Harry Belk Jr. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Shelley Nance Belk, daughter Michelle Belk Beatty (Mark), granddaughter Courtney, son Timothy Belk, grandsons Colby and Colin, nephew Ted Belk and niece Ashley Belk. In addition to his parents, Malcolm was also preceded in death by his brother Harry Belk III.

Malcolm graduated from Garinger High School in Charlotte, NC and served with the NC Air National Guard. He greatly enjoyed league bowling for many years. He loved being outside and took great pride in his yearly vegetable gardens. He loved his pets and the many critters he would find. Malcolm also enjoyed carpentry, fishing, NASCAR races and auctions. He never met a stranger and had a huge sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Wednesday June 18, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227.

The funeral service will be held at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel on Thursday June 19, 2025 at 11 am, with interment at Charlotte Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum located at 7632 Hood Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28215.
