Marcene McCrorie Dulin

Marcene was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 3, 1948, to Frances Hucks McCrorie of Charlotte, and the late Morrison Biggers McCrorie.

Along with her mother, Marcene was survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Ron Dulin; their sons, Michael Dulin and William Stewart (Jessica), all of Charlotte; and her granddaughter, Alana Stewart. She is also survived by three sisters, Shirley Wolfe (Earl), Brenda Pressley (Clinton), all of Charlotte, and Martha Wright (Larry) of Knoxville, Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws, all of whom she loved dearly.

Always showing her love for children and teaching, Ms. Marty was a dedicated Educator for over 25 years. The most recent of which, she retired as the Director from Providence Baptist in Harrisburg, North Carolina.

Marcene loved the Lord and served faithfully as a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church, where she was the Baptist Women’s President and served on various committees, in which she used all her God-given talents to share with others, on most any project that needed a creative touch…Ms. Marty was always there.

Her friendship was an inspiration, her love a blessing. To know her was to love her. Grace was in her steps, Heaven in her eye, in every gesture dignity and love.

A celebration of her beautiful life will be held at Clear Creek Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Family will receive friends from 1:30pm until 3:00pm, with her service to follow to 3:00pm. The Reverend Brandon Mullis, The Reverend Homer Murdock and her nephew, The Reverend Clint Pressley will officiate.

Memorials may be made to Clear Creek Baptist Church, 9015 Ferguson Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227, or to any Hospice organization in the Carolinas (both held a special place in Marcene’s heart.)
