My family first met the Lockridges when Muffin and I were in kindergarten together. Even though we drifted apart and lost touch over the years, I have always kept fond memories of Muffin in my heart. We were all saddened by her passing.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mary. Mary and I were really close a couple of years ago and though I haven't seen her lately, I have thought of her often. Please know your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to the Lockridge family. Mary was such a sweet, caring and loving woman. I considered her one of the best people i know. May God be with you and your family during this time of grief.

I am so sorry to hear about Mary's passing. I knew her in high school and was a good friend, she was sweet and had a heart of gold! We lost touch as the years went on and I moved away, but I still remember her and the person she was. She will be missed greatly and I have kept the Lockridge family in my thoughts and prayers. God definitely received another beautiful angel.

Mary was a great friend and she always made me smile. She was like a sister to me and I miss her so much. Mary and her family were some of the best people I've ever met. I will always hold her close to my heart. I'll always be thankful that she was in my life. I love you all.. xoxo

Mary was defiantly one of a kind. Even though we had lost touch I thought of her often. Mary and her family have always meant a lot to me. Mary was always a kind hearted person always willing to give an ear or advice. I will cherish all the memories that we shared always, and its okay cause "we're related."

Mary was the first "big sister" role model I had in my life. Even though it has been many years, your first friends always hold a very special place in the heart and I hope you know how much I love you all. I know Mary will be missed on this earth but the angels are rejoicing in her presence and I know one day we will all be re-united in His kingdom! Mary i will miss u i still can't get this and im still asking why im going to miss ur song u and darrly would sing early in da morning trying to wake me up singing all loud lol. i used to be like who is so jolly in the morning like this ..... u have taught me to enjoy life be happy and thats just wat u was doing im going to really miss u we use to cry together we solved each other problems we corrected each other i love u and to the family keep ur head up.

Our hearts are so heavy.  The Viar family was so fortunate to have known Mary and experienced first hand her gentleness, thoughtfulness and kindness. Her memories will warm our hearts forever.

My thoughts are with the family ..Mary was always so polite around me, always giving me a hug (she was friends with my son, Richard Duckett and his room-mate several years ago) If I saw her out and about, she readily greeted me. I've moved away from Mint Hill and I regret not seeing her in the past year.
