Born August 15th, 1958, to Mr. Alvin E. Jordan and Mrs. Shirley (Dennis) Jordan, Mr. Jordan was a life-long resident of Charlotte.
Known as “Pops” to most, Mr. Jordan is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher D. Jordan and Mandi I. Jordan; grandchildren, Mason H. and Madalyn G. Jordan; nephew, Jason E. Jordan; and niece, Jennifer J. Gardner, in addition their spouses and children.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, January 27th, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, located at 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. Friends are cordially invited to a reception with the family immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Prior to his passing, Mr. Jordan requested that guests “come as they are, no suits and stuff.” In keeping with his request, casual dress is preferred.
