He is survived by his wife, Betsy Jackson; son, Shawn Jackson and wife, Nikki; and grandson, Fletcher.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 am Monday, April 23, 2018, at Grace United Methodist Church, 3522 Secrest Short Cut Road in Monroe, North Carolina, with a memorial service to immediately follow at 11:00 am.
