She was born in Wichita Falls, TX, on June 6, 1945, to the late Harry Lee Long and Gloria Chambless Long. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Earl Gee, one son, Robert Earl Gee, Jr., sisters, Marie Moss, Deborah Currier, Carolyn Agnew, Marilyn Hughston, and numerous nephews and nieces.
She worked for 50 years in the insurance industry, retiring from The Hood Hargett Agency 10 years ago. One of the greatest joys in Rosie’s life was giving to others. She also loved animals and was a devoted Cat Mom.
The family will hold a private ceremony to honor Rosie. A special thank you to Novant Hospice, the angels who guided Rosie and our family through her final days.
