

Ryan Patrick Bouchard passed away on July 12, 2010. He was born on September 12, 1981, in Fort Kent, Maine. He is survived by his loving wife of 3 years, Nicole Bartlett Bouchard, originally of Bridgewater, Maine, one daughter, Elizabeth Mary, and one unborn child.
Always a diligent, hard worker, he achieved Eagle Scout status at the age of 16. He was a member of the Order of the Arrow. He was also a 3rd degree member of the Fort Kent Knights of Columbus, Council 1934. He was a graduate of Fort Kent Community High School, and went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine at Orono, as a member of the Chi Epsilon engineering honor society. He then obtained a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He obtained his Professional Engineering license in the spring of 2009.
Ryan lived in Charlotte, North Carolina. He worked for the engineering firm of Black & Veatch.
He is also survived by his mother and father, Pauline and Richard, of Fort Kent, and his brother and sister-in-law Nathan and Kimberly, currently residing in Griffin, Georgia. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Ronald and Candide Bouchard, of St. David, Maine and a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Patrick and Therese (Bouchard) Pelletier and an uncle, Paul Pelletier.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at 3:00-5:00 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Services, Inc. Mint Hill, North Carolina. A funeral service will be held in Fort Kent, Maine, at a later date.
