Shawn Eric Schilling

Shawn Eric Schilling, 57, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 28, 2022. Shawn was born March 11, 1965 in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Donald and Martha (Sheetz) Schilling.

Shawn graduated from high school in Burlington, Iowa in 1983 and graduated from Northeast Missouri State University in 1988 with a major in accounting. He retired from Profit Recovery Group (PRG) after 21 years of service. He was a member of the St. Marys Catholic Church in West Burlington, Iowa. Shawn was a very likeable person with an infectious laugh and smile. He will be surely missed by many.

Shawn is survived by his loving partner of thirty years, Kelly Schilling; his parents, Donald and Martha Schilling; his brother, Theron Schilling; his sister, Karla Schilling; and many extended family and close friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Blair Road United Methodist Church, 9135 Blair Road, Mint Hill, NC. A visitation will be held prior from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC.
