Phil, So sorry to hear you have lost your son. I remember you always talking warmly about him when we worked together. I know you are suffering deeply. My heart goes out to you and you loved ones.

Steven was a good friend of mine, he was a very intelligent guy, a very inspirational person in my life. I will miss him dearly. my condolences go out to his family & other friends. You will be missed bro and never forgotten.

To the Cantrell family, the friends and Amanda, I am utterly broken hearted and dismayed to hear about Steven. I know that he is at peace now and watching over everyone and I pray that this comforts you all.  
My relations to Steven are a bit funny to Amanda and I, as I briefly dated him before he met Amanda. I met her through him and became fast friends. That was years ago and I am thankful that I knew/knowthem both. 
Again, you are all in my prayers and as I send up a special prayer for Steven today, I just want you all to know that you are in my thoughts and on my heart.

Skip, Stephanie, Amanda, and Erika: I'm so sorry for your loss.  I hope you're all comforted by the memories of the fun times you had with Steven.  

I wish you guys lived closer so I had gotten to know him better.  He seemed like a fun guy, and he reminded me a little of grandpa with the home remedies he mentioned a few times on facebook.  I'm glad we got to spend a little time together in recent years the times you visited for Thanksgiving.

I wish I was able to attend the service.  I haven't been to Charlotte since I was 14.  I plan to make a donation to CF in memory of Steven, and I'm thinking about participating in a walk next year.

You'll all be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Steven, the love of my life, I will miss you so much. I know that you are at peace now and I am grateful for that. Thank you for giving me the strength to make it through this rough time. I love you now and I will love you always. My heart goes out to Phil, Stephanie, and family. May we all find peace in knowing that he is healed and no longer suffering. Much love.
