Caren- we just learned of Steve's passing. We are so sorry . You both took us into your lives and were so gracious to our babies.
 I first met Steve  when we moved to Charlotte. He  was so compassionate and understanding  about our situation with two elderly dogs moving from a suburb to a city.  He helped ME adjust! What a wonderful man  ! As Casey grew sicker he helped us understand what we needed to do . We watched your video of Steve -what a wonderful person - we already knew that . Hope to see you in Charlotte for a big hug to thank you and Steve . XO. 

Not sure where to start I am so saddened by the loss of Steven he was one of my favorite people in the world to talk to. I was introduced to Steven many years ago by Carl Belk he took care of all my doggies over the years, there are so many stories that are funny, and ones that you would never believe. He was always there for my dogs and my family, he made me laugh, he was simply the best. He always knew exactly what to do in every situation that’s what made him the best dog care taker in the world there will never be another Steven. I am so glad he stopped by my house a year ago in his white Mercedes to meet my latest Australian Shepard Belle, I think he took immediate liking to her because I think she was one of the few invited to stay at his home with the swimming pool, play with the Great Dane and sleep with the cats. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and the love of his life Caren. 

Steven  was THE BEST dog sitter ever! He took my golden Ziggy to his own home once we we traveled and  my dog fell in love with his Great Dane and family . What an amazing care giver. I’m so saddened by this news. I know he’ll be greatly missed 

I am so very sorry for your loss. Steven was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have ever known. He quickly became part of my family after I moved to Charlotte in 1999; I think he loved Teddy and Tasha almost as much as I did. Steven was blessed to find the perfect partner in Caren, and I have been grateful for her help with my four-legged children and home, too. Caren, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of Steven's family.

We just heard the news tonight and are so devastated for your loss. Steven took amazing care of our Banjo and Honey Bee over the years and he and Keren have been a blessing in our lives. He will be greatly missed by so many.

We are so sad to hear of Steven's passing. Steven and Caren took amazing care of our dog, Beau Bo who recently passed two weeks ago. Steven went above and beyond to help us with our dog during a difficult time when we had to do a mold remediation on our home. He was always willing to help even on short notice. He loved our dog as his own. I am so grateful to have known him and his amazing heart.

I was both shocked and saddened to hear of Steven's passing.  I never had the pleasure of actually meeting him in person and regret not having had that chance.  I called Pawscription Care  when I needed some help with providing walks for my Golden Retriever while I was undergoing cancer treatments.  I spoke to Steven and could feel his sincere kindness and compassion right through the phone.  He assured me that he and Caren could help for as long as needed and I knew without doubt that I could count on that.  Caren came to save the day(s) and the dog and I both immediately adored her!  It was clear that both Steven and Caren loved their clients and business, they did an exceptional job.  My thoughts and prayers are with Caren and both of their families during this difficult time.

We are so shocked and saddened at the loss of such a wonderful person. He has watched over our home and  pets for more than 20 years that helped to bring joy to us while we were away.  We had no  worries that our loved pets were being well cared for.  We love the detailed notes we would find when we returned home that showed how well and how much you both cared for them.  Steven even cried for the loss of Princess, my elderly cat. We shared our love for travel and adventure. He had a heart of gold and we are all at a loss with his all too soon passing. My friend is gone. He was the only one I had and not that I even deserved him at all.  Our lives came together and then drifted apart. I loved him always. Infectious, Boisterous, Beautiful. He was always the hardest working farmer I knew with his dawn to dusk work ethic. Unwavering. It always felt like no matter what or where, the bond between us was strong and like a rubber band, no matter how far we stretched away from each other we would eventually snap back. I would always have him, even if we weren’t together. I am lost. Lost for words, lost for apology, lost for understanding of how this happens, ever. I am so saddened for the love of his life. An angel in her own right and someone who he absolutely adored. The perfect helper and source of his strength. Together they live life to the fullest and inspire others by loving each other so completely.  I am heartbroken for the entire family and the void within.

I am so grateful for the intimacy he shared. It matters to me that Steven loved the Lord. It matters to me that he walked his imperfect life with the Perfect One, in his own way and on his own terms, warts and all. He believed, and armed with that knowledge I know that in my pleadings and anger and sorrow, in the end, I will see him again. I love you. I miss you. I am so blessed to have been able to call you my friend.

Kirk and I are so very sorry for your loss. We have known Steven for years since he took care of our cats at Animal Medical Hospital and at our home. He was always great with our cats and was a great person to know. Please know that you and his family are in our thoughts and prayers. May you remember the great times that you had together.

Caren, I don't know how to write these words. Steven has been part of my family since I moved back in 2000. I remember him rolling up in a white Mercedes 430 and thinking "this is about the coolest dog walker I've ever met". He was so much more to us. He loved and helped every creature we've ever had: Doce, Tucker, Bailey, Beauregard, Noah's sister Mabel, the two fosters - Paddington and Tango. He brought us Lucy and was loving on Teddy . Honestly, one of the best parts of bringing home Teddy was getting Steven back in our lives more frequently. He is truly family to us. I still can't believe he won't walk through my door with a jolly laugh and liver treat for the pup. You two have gone above and beyond for us for two decades. The list of his gifts to us is simply too long to add here. He was most proud of his marriage to you, Caren. You were his rock. Every opinion was followed with "but I'll ask Caren." He adored you and  I was always inspired by your love. He brought us the G.O.A.T medallion for Beauregard; Steven was the Greatest of All Time. No one ever had a bigger heart or a more genuine soul. Steven had a heart of gold.  His eyes sparkled when he smiled, which was often.  There was never a dull moment at the Trombley’s house.  Although their menagerie of beloved pets always kept one entertained it was Steven who kept us coming back...and maybe Caren’s great cooking.  Our hearts are sore as we send prayers to his loving family. 

The most amazing person. Courtenay introduced us when we adopted/rescued brother and sister Great Pyrenees. Steve became a calming influence helping us figure out their needs and how to be good owners. Steve was quick with a laugh. Always so proud of Caren. Proud of pets in their care and proud of their owners. The world lost an amazing person and heaven gained an angel. We all miss him and we pray that time will heal then heartache by filling it with great memories.
