Ted Lewis Conder Sr.

“Paw-Paw”

Mr. Conder, 83, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy.

His family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 9 at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Interment, with Masonic and military rites, will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Born May 9, 1927 in Union County, NC, Mr. Conder was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the City of Charlotte. He was a Past Master of Mint Hill Masonic Lodge #742 and St. Andrews Masonic Lodge #702. He enjoyed fishing and always had a fish story to tell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Ellen Conder.

Survivors include four children, Dianne Farnsworth and Kay Conder, both of Charlotte, Ted Conder, Jr. and wife, Lannette, of Clover, SC, and Mark Conder and wife, Jackie, of Greenville, SC; a sister, Brenda Hough and husband, Fred, of Fancy Gap, VA; grandchildren, Nicole Yandle and husband, Ted, Jeff Farnsworth and John Conder; and two great-grandchildren, Calob and Alexa Farnsworth.
