Thomas L Price

Mr. Price, 82, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at CMC-Northeast, Concord, NC. He was born June 12, 1930 in Union County, NC, a son of the late J. Lawson Price and Evelyn Secrest Price. Mr. Price was a National Guard veteran. He was self- employed as a Grading Contractor for nearly 60 years and was owner of Price Grading Service. He was a lifetime member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Union County, NC.

Mr. Price was predeceased by his sister, Katherine Price Teel. He is survived by his wife, Doris Price of Midland, NC; sons, Jeffrey Price of Charlotte, NC and Paul Price and wife, Laura, of Stanfield, NC; daughter, Mary Ann Conard and husband, Dennis, of Stanfield, NC; granddaughters, Carrie and Hannah Conard; brother, Blair (Denise) Price of Herford, NC; and sister, Dora Alice (Max) Steinek of Charlotte, NC and nephew, Tim Teel.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Thursday at McEwen Funeral Service Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC. A service of worship and celebration will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 24, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 120 Potter Road South, Wesley Chapel, NC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Wesley Chapel UMC Cemetery Fund 2822 Weddington Rd. Monroe, NC 28110.
