Timothy Van Price went to his heavenly home on October 19, 2016 after a brief sudden illness. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda McClellan Price, daughter Krystal Gayle Ashe and husband Chris, his step-daughter Kristin Brantley Witte and husband Jason. He had four beautiful grandchildren Payton Ashe, Connor Ashe, Kaitlyn Witte, and Brayden Witte. He is also survived by his 3 siblings, Lynn Moody, Mark Price, and Teresa Thornton. He was preceded in death by his parents David and Jean Price.
Tim worked for years as an X-Ray processor service technician at Metrolina Silver Service, Source One, and Diagnostic Imaging. Until the day his illness placed him in the hospital, he was working in the Garden Center at Home Depot on Albemarle Road. As he underwent tests at Northeast Medical Center he was still greeting hospital staff he used to see through his X-Ray work.
Tim lived a loving life and made a new friend every day. He loved talking to everyone especially about his passions, Hunting and Fishing. Tim was a lifelong member of the Dutchman’s Creek Hunt Club in Uwharrie. The members there were his 2nd family. Tim enjoyed outdoor activities regardless of location, loving the woods, mountains, coast, and local rivers. He also loved having his pets around, always having his dogs and birds and often fostering abused and abandoned pets. He was dedicated to his family and friends. Tim’s family is at peace knowing he is no longer in pain and has joined his parents in Heaven.
