Bill graduated from the University of Georgia and was a proud fan of his Bulldogs. He also was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan. He was a long time resident of Peachtree City, Georgia but the family later moved to Matthews, North Carolina, where he currently resided.
Bill served his country in the US Navy. He would then go on to a career with Delta airlines and he held a commercial pilot license.
He enjoyed traveling, golfing, and spending time with his family. His faith was important to him and he was a member of the Lutheran Church. Bill led by example and was a patient, kind, and caring person; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Rae Frazier; his children, Beth Amerson (Greg), Diana Roberts (J.P.), Sharon Huston, Amy Stiene (Tim), Elizabeth Day, and Laura Frazier; his 16 grandchildren, his 18 great-grandchildren, and many other loving extended family members.
