Allen Lake Hamilton, 86, of Garden Plaza in Collegedale, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018. A native of Pasadena, CA, he was a resident of Calhoun, GA before moving to Collegedale two years ago. He was a veteran of the Korean War., serving in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Hamilton. Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Ann Hamilton; Children, Georgia Hamilton Land, Wendy Hamilton and Marty Hamilton; six grandchildren, Vanessa Murphy, Michael Land, Jon-Michael Brown, Elliott Brown, Amanda Hamilton and Olivia Hamilton; four great-grandchildren, Jack Murphy, Lennox Land, Dexter Land and Avaley Brown.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Fred Land officiating. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Calhoun Seventh-day Adventist Church Food Bank, 1411 Rome Road, Calhoun, GA 30701.
