Born in 1947 in Soddy Daisy, TN (Flat Top Mountain), she attended Soddy Daisy High School. She later received an Associated Degree and became an LPN.
She loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed being a pastor’s wife and teaching Sunday School.
Alyce is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Rubye Wilcox, one brother, Charles Wilcox, and one son, John David McKee.
Alyce is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rev. Don McKee Sr. of Chattanooga, two sons, Don Jr. (Leslie), Paul (Kacey), one sister, Nancy Forester, and several grandchildren, Donnie (Rebecka), Logan, Lani, Samantha, Nicholas, Kathleen, Pete, Taylor and Maddie and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in the Valley View Chapel with Rev. Jim Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Tyner Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
