Arthur McKenzie

Arthur was a retiree from Collegedale Case Works, where he worked from 1968 until his retirement. He was a graduate of the Adelphian Academy in Michigan and a faithful member of Standifer Gap Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Chattanooga.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Ella McKenzie; his sisters, Evelyn Kinkella, Phyllis Radike, and Nancy Wolf; his brother, Larry McKenzie, and his youngest daughter, Cheryl Stevens.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 75 years, Billie D. McKenzie, along with his children, Michael McKenzie (Gail) of Madison, TN, Bruce McKenzie (Kennye) of Georgetown, TN, and Linda North (Jeff) of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by two brothers, Val McKenzie and Keith McKenzie, a sister, Marilyn Wolf,12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home Valley View Chapel. A funeral service will occur Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow at Collegedale Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Standifer Gap Seventh-Day Adventist Church or the Alzheimer's Association in his memory.

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
