Betty Brewer Beckler

Betty was born and raised in Ducktown, TN where she was a graduate of Ducktown High School Class of 1945, and attended The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. In Chattanooga, she was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church for over 67 years where she taught 5th and 6th grade Sunday School, later serving more than 20 years working with the Special Friends class there. She worked as a bookkeeper at Belvoir Pharmacy.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Don Beckler; parents, H.E. and Nora Brewer; siblings, Ben Brewer, Gilbert Brewer, Leroy Brewer, and Niva Knutson.

Surviving are her children Margaret Frazier (Randy) of Chattanooga, Roger Beckler (Marie) of Lake Mary, FL, Jane Bird (Donnie) of Lyman, SC; grandchildren Michael Beckler, Stephen Beckler (Amy), Shane Frazier (Arynne), Ryan Frazier (Natalia); great-grandchildren Dakota and Allee Beckler, Ty, Carla, Brooks, Stella and Gia Frazier; sister, Midge Brewer; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 PM on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Ridgedale Baptist Church (1831 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421) with visitation from 3 to 4 PM at the church.

Burial will be private.
