Ms. Candice Willmore

Candice Willmore, 22, of Columbia, TN, formerly of Ooltewah, TN, died Thursday evening, April 8, 2010 in a local hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a graduate of Silverdale Baptist Academy and had attended Bryan College. She was a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church and having loved the Lord all her life, she has been a faithful servant and is now in his presence. She loved working with the youth and was employed with Korner Kampus Day Care. She is survived by her parents, Clay and Tammy Willmore; brother, Josh Willmore, all of Ooltewah; paternal grandparents, Martha and Charlie McDowell, Cleveland, TN and Sam and Robbie Willmore, Chattanooga; maternal grandparents, Pat Stephens, Crawfordsville, IN, Jerry and Donna Stephens, Crawfordsville, IN; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Greenwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Toby Brogdon and the Rev. Mike Steele officiating. Interment will be in the New McDonald Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Silverdale Baptist Academy Student Scholarships, 7236 Bonny Oaks Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
