Carolyn Ann Rolen

Carolyn Ann (Hurst) Rolen, 80, of Ooltewah, Tennessee passed away Monday, February 10, 2025. She was born September 1, 1944, in Sevierville, Tennessee to Richard Glen Hurst and Edna Manning Hurst Green.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don Rolen, three brothers, Floyd, Johnny and R.G., two sisters, Marilyn and Linda Sue.

Her favorite things in life were spending time with her family, watching baseball (especially the Braves), her roses, sci-fi movies, her puzzle books and her cats, Ollie and Lucy.

She is survived by her son, Billy Caughron, three daughters, Pamela (John) Elliott, Teresa Maples, Donna (Robert) Mitchell, grandchildren, Karianne (Jay) Morgan, Joshua Elliott, Julie (Eric) Wilson, Matthew Rolen, Brandi (Jamie) Gann, Amber Rolen, Chastity Bailey, Steven (Tiffany) Bailey, Hannah Mitchell (Austin Hardee), Tiffany Owens, Jerome Owens, Angela (Brian) Tidwell and Amanda (Daniel) Hutchings, great grandchildren, Briar, Serenity, Hayden, Lincoln, Parker, Keegan, Micah, Macie, Ava, Ellie, Waylon, Layla, Harley, Savannah, Danielle, Sydney and Chloe. She is also survived by brothers, Gary (Debbie) Hurst, Kenny (Rita) Hurst, Doyle (Sandy) Hurst and Ricky Green.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, with special love and thanks to Rebekah, Cocoa, Crystal, Alisha, Stephanie, Amanda, Joanne, and Angie for all the excellent care and compassion you showed our mother, she loved everyone of you.

Per Mother’s request there will be a graveside service only. All are welcome to attend, services will be 3:00 Friday, February 14, 2025, at Ooltewah Cemetery with Ray Eslinger officiating.
