Carolyn Sliger

Carolyn was born October 9, 1941, to Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. and Mildred Peal.

She was a native of Chattanooga and a lifetime member of East Chattanooga Church of God “Redemption Point” where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Carolyn loved working in the yard and was an excellent seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Sliger and brother, Richard Peal.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy K. Park (Frank), of Chattanooga, TN, son, Michael L. Sliger (Susan), of Ooltewah, TN, five grandsons, Kasey and Kyle Lawson, Andrew, Cody and Cameron Sliger, three granddaughters, Jennifer Grider, Jamie Blancett, Erin Hundley, twelve great-grandchildren, sister, Nancy Hull, of Dalton, GA, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday – July 21, 2023, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Ballinger officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens – East with Kasey Lawson, Kyle Lawson, Andrew Sliger, Cody Sliger, Cameron Sliger and Derrek Coffman serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday – July 20, 2022, at the funeral home.
