Dick Wolfe

He was a servant of Jesus Christ and he shared the gospel message with others. He was a lifelong resident of Ooltewah. He was a graduate of Ooltewah High School and the University of Chattanooga.

Dick owned the Ooltewah Food Market early in life. Later he was caretaker of Ooltewah Cemetery for 38 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and either had a shotgun in hand or a line in the water.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Elizabeth Wolfe, and his son, Ray (Ricky) Wolfe. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Ware Wolfe, daughter, Cindy Combs, of Chattanooga, son, Ken Wolfe and wife Tara, of Sarasota, FL, three grandchildren, Heather Combs, of Hixson, Chris Combs, of Chattanooga, and Kevin Wolfe, of Sarasota, FL, brothers, Steve Wolfe and wife Linda, of Ooltewah, Pat Wolfe of Ocala, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 11, 2025, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dan Haire officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ooltewah Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 7, Ooltewah, TN 37363.
