Elaine Higdon Grove, 81, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012. Memorial Service will be at 3pm Sunday, September 30 at the McDonald Road SDA Church, McDonald, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to help support evangelism and growth of the Rock Spring SDA Church, Rock Springs, GA. Elaine was a High School English teacher. It was her passion and life’s work to teach young people. She was an outgoing industrious woman who touched many lives with her happy loving countenance. She is survived by her Children: Tim Grove (wife Tracey Grove) (also teachers), Sonja Snyder (husband Craig Snyder), Tammy Thayer (husband Kim Thayer) Grandchildren: Josh Pryor (wife Brandy Pryor), Jonathan Grove, Cheree Camery, Brittany Thayer and Romann Henderson, Emily Snyder, Gillian Snyder. Great-Grandchild: Elizabeth Grace Pryor. Sisters: Gwen DeSantis (husband Jack DeSantis) and Wanda Saar (husband Charles Saar).
