Harold was a lifelong friend.  We first met at Union College in Lincoln, NE.  I had the privilege of conducting an Evangelistic Crusade in Baton Rouge, LA, where he served as the Pastor.  Harold was an intelligent, professional person and eloquent speaker.  We talked often by phone.  He loved to reminisce about our years of working together in ministry.

Lonnie, I was so sorry to hear of your loss.  I will miss Harold's weekly telephone calls just checking on me.  He was a true friend.  It will only be a very short time for him and he will answer God's call to come forth and spend eternity in the earth made new!

I met Harold 1996 and he became one of my best friends I asked harold what was one of the biggest amazements of his lifetime and he said it would have to be the telephone to be able to call somebody in England and they hear you just like you was standing beside them I love the stories you only could imagine the stories I've heard in 28 years I could listen to him another 28 I will miss his phone calls everyday sometimes four or five times a day I hope to meet you again your friend Tocco Man

I meet Brother Heath about 15 or 20 years ago at the gym.  He always wore a sleeves t shirt.  We talked about everything from trucks to women and to what i found out to be the most important GOD. Brother Heath would always call me Brother Dave, or Brother David.  He invited me over to his home for burgers with him and his wife Lonnie more than once.  They were very good burgers also, this was pre covid, Brother Heath would also call me from time to time and say Brother Dave is thinking about and just checking on you.  One of the deepest and most simple things Brother Heath told me was in a series of questions one time.  He asked me do you know why sometimes you feel out of place or dont belong or that something is missing not truly happy. And they were feeling i alway had and always pondered. Then Brother told me for what i feel is the true Answer, Brother Heath told me, your feel that way because this is not your home. Brother Heath was a blessing to me and i truly enjoyed talking and listening to him.  You are home Brother Heath, and to Lonnie Bless your heart. Its all been a pleasure.

Harold was always kind,  had a gentle voice and welcoming when we girls would come and hangout at the house when I was in college and after too.  We had deep conversations, many laughs and meals together.  Golf, family and cats were always part of the conversation. Now that I am older I can see why he would watch golf on tv!  Their home  always felt like a second  home.  I  look forward to visting again when Jesus comes to take us all home. I love you Harold and Lonnie.
