Henry Clay Collins, Jr., 88, of Chattanooga died August 4, 2013. He was born August 6, 1924 in Bradley County, Tennessee to the late Henry Clay Collins, Sr. and Daisy Marie Selvidge Collins. Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his wife Anna Bell Collins. He was retired from Tennessee American Water Co. after 35 years of service. He was passionate about coon hunting and hunted as long as he was able. He was a member of the East Brainerd Coons Hunting Club.
Survivors include sons Ron Collins, Dennis Collins, Steve (Patty) Collins and Jerry (Allene) Collins; sisters Jessie Igou, Jane Phillips, and Frances Quarles; eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 7 at the Ooltewah Cemetery with Reverend Dale Lovelady officiating.
