

Kenneth (Ken) Leon Brumlow went home to be with our lord and savior on December 4, 2012 in a local hospital surrounded by loves ones.
Mr. Brumlow was born February 20, 1949 to the late Mr. & Mrs. James A. Brumlow. Ken was a graduate of Brainerd High School class of 1966 where he was an outstanding baseball player. Mr. Brumlow served his country honorably from 1970-1972 reaching the rank of Sergeant and was honorably discharged. He then went on to work in the trucking industry for Chattanooga Coca-Cola where he retired in 2012 after 34 years of employment.
He is preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 40 years Velma Sue Brumlow who passed December 23, 2007, His father James A. Brumlow, His mother Ruth W. Brumlow, His brother Wayne Brumlow, and his sister Diane Gates. Survivors include his son Michael & LaChon Brumlow of Hixson, His daughter Deborah & David Brumlow- Graves of Rossville, Ga, Four grandchildren Brandon Tyler Daigle, Aaron Blake Daigle, Kenneth Ashton Daigle, Sean Brumlow and one great granddaughter Baylee Jean Brumlow, his brother James (Jim) Brumlow of Ringgold, Ga , his sister Doris & Earl Russell of Tunnel Hill, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday in the Chattanooga Funeral Home Valley View Chapel with Steve Huff and Lillard Stringer officiating. The Burial will be at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, Tennessee where he will be laid to rest by our loving mother and devoted wife Velma S. Brumlow.
The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home.
Mike Brumlow, David Graves, Dewayne Gates, Greg Gates, Ernie Roberson and James Hudson will serve as pallbearers. Brandon Tyler Daigle and Aaron Blake Daigle will serve as honorary pallbearers for their paw paw.
Deborah Brumlow-Graves & Michael Brumlow would like to extend our appreciation to everyone for their love, prayers, and support. We would like to especially thank our uncle Jim Brumlow for showing & demonstrating what devotion, love, and the unity of family is about. Thank you Uncle Jim!
