Melody Lenora Ramey (nee Burnham) passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011 at her home after a long battle with cancer. She will be remembered with love by her daughter, Haylee Boisvert (age 11); father, the Reverend James Burnham; sister, Teresa Williams; brother, James Burnham and other family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the Silverdale Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Patrick officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Silverdale Baptist Church from 4-7 p.m. and again on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. before the Service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for her daughter, Haylee, 1817 Gray Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421 or to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering that supports Southern Baptist mission work. Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
