

Millie was born September 3, 1936 to Bea and Joseph Glass in Cleveland, Georgia (White County). She graduated from Fulton County High in Atlanta, Georgia.
Millie was passionate about nutrition and helping others. She studied nutrition and went on to be a licensed nutritionist. Through the years Mille worked with Great Earth Vitamins, GNC, and the Vitamin Shoppe.
She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church in Chattanooga. She loved reading her bible and listening to old gospel hymns. She was an amazing prayer warrior. She was best known for her compassion and love for others. She loved spending time with her family and church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bea Glass, brothers, Joe and Harold Glass, and sister, Barbara Glass Holley.
Survivors include her two children, Robert “Bobby” Steele, of Johnson City, TN, Kim Steele Wallace (husband Robert), of Chattanooga, TN, two grandchildren, Lindsey Wallace (fiancé Austin French), of Chattanooga, TN, Daniel Wallace (wife Aylish), of Rossville, GA, great grandson, “J” Wallace, two sisters, Brenda Glass Whitfield, Mary Nell Ayers, both of Woodstock, GA, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday – March 16, 2021, at Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date at Corinth Cemetery in Stone Mountain, GA.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that a love offering, in her memory, be made to Ridgedale Baptist Church.
