Monty David Moore

He is survived by his mother Covie Moore, his brother Jimmy Moore, his three children; Brandee Coppinger, Macy Beard and Monty-Paul Courtney Moore. Monty has seven grandchildren: Alyssa, Cameron and Cassie Coppinger; Cole and Morgan Beard; Augustus and Xochiquetzal Moore; several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Monty was a loving father and grandfather and a charismatic person enriching the lives of everyone he touched. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Monty coached numerous baseball and softball teams in the Chattanooga area. He was an avid Alabama Football Fan.

He was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church and the Dirk Horvath’s Sunday School Class and he volunteered at the Church and at the Silverdale Baptist Academy. He also served as an usher at Silverdale Baptist Church.

Monty graduated from Tyner High School and he retired from Wholesale Supply Group, Inc. in Cleveland, Tennessee as a receiving manager.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:30 A.M. at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rick Hansard officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Wholesale Supply Group. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens East. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 Noon until 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to T.C.
