He was preceded in death by his father, Paul William Burns, Sr.
Paul was a graduate Ooltewah High School and a member of Greenwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Burns, two daughters, Ashley (Adam) Foust, of Birchwood, TN., Keyana Burns, of Ooltewah, TN., two grandchildren, Kayden and Hailee Foust, mother, Viola Burns, of Ooltewah, TN., sister-in-law, Sharon (Johnny) Chapman, of Cleveland, TN., mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ralph and Virginia Blankenship, of Cleveland, TN., a niece, a nephew and a special cousin who was like a sister, Janet Hughes, of Ooltewah,TN.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Brogden officiating. Interment will follow in Sylar Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
