David L. Borik

David L. Borik was born on January 3, 1976 and passed away on January 23, 2021 peacefully at his home. Former husband and best friend to Jennifer M. Borik. Wonderful father to Samantha, David and Brianna. Loving son to Lawrence J. Borik and Geraldine M. Borik, treasured brother to Laurie (Phil) Elizondo, loving uncle to Philly, Noah and Gabi. Loving nephew to many aunts and uncles, adoring cousin and best friend to many. In his spare time he loved watching college football and hanging out with his family and friends. He was loved by many and will truly be missed. David was a longtime Local 597 Pipefitter.

Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be by invitation only. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. at Ridge Funeral Home (Edward A. Tylka, Manager), 6620 W. Archer Ave., Chicago, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be on February 1, 2021, St. Daniel The Prophet Church at 11:30 am. Funeral service will be live-streamed at the following link: https://www.facebook.com/RidgeFuneralHome. Interment will be private.

Ridge Funeral Home will adhere to current COVID restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allows 25 or fewer guests at a time.
