Donna Chamorro

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donna Chamorro, who parted from us on October 6, 2025 at the age of 53. Born on August 11, 1972 in Chicago, IL, to James and Beverly Leenheer. Donna was known for her kindness, love, energy, strength, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She was a beloved mother, grandmother (nana), sister, and friend.

Throughout her life, Donna was known as a hard worker and a fighter in all aspects. She worked hard and played hard. As a mother and a nana, Donna was exceptionally dedicated and gave her all to her cherished children Ray and Meghan, and her truly beloved granddaughter Kylie as well as extended grandchildren Michael and Jasiah.

She is survived by her children Ray Chamorro and Meghan Chamorro (fiancé Isaac), her granddaughter Kylie Chamorro, her siblings Pamela Ladd, Jennifer Leenheer, Barbara Szabo (Janos), Kandy Reyes, George Leenheer, Jimmy Leenheer, and her Aunt Bonnie Bush. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Beverly Leenheer.
