Evelyn Samars, born May 31, 1923. Cherished daughter of the late Alex and the late Josephine Budzinski. Beloved wife of the late Michael Samars. Loving mother of Michael, Richard, Joyce (Tom) Caulfield, and Theresa (John) O'Rourke. Proud grandmother of Christine (Gregg) Cooley, Janeen O'Rourke, Joanne Caulfield, and Katie Caulfield. Proud great-grandmother of Brooklynn Cooley. Dear sister of Butch (Helen) Budzinski, Anne (Ben) Sliwa, Helen (Zig) Nagel, Irene Budzinski, and Henry (Arlene) Budzinski. Dear sister-in-law of Ray Samars. Caring aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a member of the Polish Falcon Nest 1, the St. Jane de Chantal Seniors and Ladies Guild, and the Matriarch of the Marauders SAC. Known as "Busia" to many friends and family, she was known for her Catholic faith, inspiring many with her kind words and good deeds. Funeral Friday 9:30am from Ridge Funeral Home (6620 W.
