Frank and I were very sorry to hear that your mom, Irene has gone home to heaven; I can remember hearing your mom calling you home when the street lights went on; little did I know that those years growing up on Racine would be so precious and rare compared to today’s world. Our deepest condolences to the entire family but especially Victor, MaryLou, Kathy & Susie. Sending prayers and hugs

When I think about the family memories that we shared with Auntie Irene , the big family parties sometimes at her home and sometimes at Grandma Villarreal’s, in the kitchen with traditional dishes and music of our Mexican Culture, and always lots of family! We learned that life is a celebration! Yes we have our trials and hardships but, getting together with family and creating memories for the future heals us, strengthens us, and keeps us strong! Now a mom of three grown sons, I value more than anything, family memories created as I was growing up, and traditions I learned during time spent with her and my cousins. I’m praying that the family memories are a blessing to her children and extended family and friends. God bless Auntie Irene. May she rest in peace
Sincerely Janette Salcedo
