Irene H. Zawadski, age 89. Beloved wife of the late Peter. Loving mother of Patricia (Virgil) Wilson and James (Susan) Zawadski. Beloved grandmother of Amanda (Ben) Tasker and Amy Wilson. Irene was preceded in death by her siblings; Marie (Joseph) Chudy, Helen (John) Lassek, Florence (Frank) Kopf, Gertrude (Joseph) Klimcak, Frank (Stella) Janiszewski, Edmund (Wanda) Janiszewski and Jack Janiszewski. Sister in law of the late Anne and Louis Lebda, the late Joseph and Dorothy Zawadzki, the late Frank (Elsie) Zawadzki, the late Walter and Shirley Zawadzki, the late Edward Zawadzki, Sister Jane Zawadzki SSJ, Theresa Lyons and Chester Zawadzki. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Irene was a member of The St. Symphorosa Super Seniors Club and the Illinois Bell Pioneers.
Visitation Wednesday 3-9 PM at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 W Archer Ave, Chicago. Funeral prayers Thursday 10 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass at 10:30 at St. Symphorosa Church, 6135 S Austin Ave, Chicago. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
