Jerry Malinowski

Jerome "Jerry" Malinowski, age 80, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Monday, July 1st, 2024. Jerry was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 11th, 1944 to his parents, the late Theodore and Evelyn [nee Orawiec] Malinowski.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of nearly 57 years, Dorothy [nee Kurzawa]. Jerry will also be remembered by his cherished daughters, Charise (James) McGuire and Nadine (James) Bokowski, as well as his beloved grandsons; Patrick, Daniel, and Caleb. Jerry will be dearly missed by countless other friends and family.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kenneth Malinowski.

Jerry proudly served in the United States Army and was a member of the Veterans Association and the American Legion. He was a proud United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Union member for 57 years. During that time he worked as a carpenter for the Chicago Housing Authority, Chicago Park District, and was a Union Business Agent.

Visitation for Jerry will be on Saturday, July 6th, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Rene Goupil Catholic Church (Two Holy Martyrs Parish), 6949 W 63rd Pl, Chicago, IL 60638, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 AM.

A private interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery to be scheduled at a later date.
