Jose de Jesus Cornejo Pena, age 71, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was born May 22, 1949 in Encarnacion de Diaz, Jalisco, Mexico to Martin Cornejo Montoya (dec.) and Maria De Jesus Pena Campos. Recently retired Jose loved to spend his time between Chicago and Mexico. He lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family. He is survived by his wife Maria. Loving father of Jose Jr, Nancy (Alex) and Lila. Proud grandfather of Andrejana and Nikola Misic. He is also further survived by brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends. Jose will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Services entrusted to Ridge Funeral Home, Chicago.
