Maria A Giannopoulos

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the falling asleep in the Lord of Maria A Giannopoulos on December 6, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Asimis and the devoted mother of Eleni (the late George), the late George (Fofi), and Toola (George). Maria was the cherished grandmother of Alex, Peter, Maria, Sam, Jimmy, George, John and Maria. She was the loving daughter of the late Panagos and the late Georgia Margeolas. Maria was the dear sister of the late Steve Margeolas, the late Eleni Katris, the late Fotini Latsos, the late Dimos Margeolas. She was the proud aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on December 9, 2020 at 9:00 am until time of Chapel Service at 11:00 am at Ridge Funeral Home (Edward A. Tylka, Manager), 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL. Committal Service will follow at 12:30 pm at Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum, 2905 North Thatcher Road, River Grove, IL.

Ridge Funeral Home will adhere to current COVID restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allows 10 or fewer guests at a time. Proper social distancing must be practiced and all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times. No food will be allowed at the funeral home. Thank you for your understanding.
