Marion Mildred Dusek

Born on August 15th 1933, loving wife of the late Richard "Duke" Dusek (2008). Daughter of the late Joseph & Anne Sovinec, Marion is survived by her son Rick Dusek, his wife Karin, granddaughter Allison, & her great grandchildren Jacob (26), Emma (18), Maya (16), Nathan (15), & Madison (20).

Marion graduated from Jones Commercial High School & attended secretarial classes at Wilson Junior College.

An aspiring model from the National Models Institute, she received an award from the Herald-American Contest. Marion enjoyed many pastimes & hobbies. She was an avid rollerblader; holding the position of “The Whip.” Marion enjoyed sewing and dancing. One of her favorite songs was the Harlem Nocturne.

Visitation for Marion will be on Thursday Morning, March 31, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridge Funeral Home, (Edward A. Tylka, Manager), 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. at St. Daniel the Prophet Church, 5300 S. Natoma Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, 7200 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458.
