Ralph J. Ruggiero

Ralph J. Ruggiero, age 86 of Chicago passed away on December 13, 2025. He was born on September 4, 1939 to John and Michelina Ruggiero. Ralph was known for being hard-working, kind-hearted, faithful and generous.

Loving husband for 58 years to the late Marcia A. Ruggiero. Beloved father and grandfather of John (Tracy); Joe and Michele and their children Gabrielle (Drew) Slack, Blake and Parker; Steve (Debbie) and their children Aaron (Marisa), Shawn, Ian and the late Lucas: and Thomas.

Proud great grandfather to Arlo, Arwen. Dear brother of Frank and Gail, Mary (the late Robert) Palumbo, Antoinette (Chuck) Strezo, and Anthony (Anne). Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Ralph retired from a long career in financial services at WinTrust. He was a dedicated car enthusiast, often spending his time immersed in his passion for automobiles, drag racing his 55. He was deeply appreciated by those who knew him for his warmth and generosity. His favorite places to eat included Web's, Cip's, 3 Sons and Ragazzi.

Visitation for Ralph will be on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM. to 8:00 PM., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, Illinois, 60638. Family and Friends can gather on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 8:30 AM., with prayer service at 9:30 AM., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM., at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church, 6612 West 54th Street, Chicago, IL 60638.
